Ma Che Bella Sorpresa tells the story of Guido (Claudio Bisio), a romantic dreamer and a high school professor of literature, whose life falls apart when his girlfriend, with whom he has lived for years, leaves him for another man. Paul (Frank Matano) - a listless former student, now a physical education teacher – and his best friend do everything they can to help him get over her. They invite his Milanese parents (Renato Pozzetto and Ornella Vanoni) to Naples.
